Courtney L Bostdorff

My name is Courtney L Bostdorff. This is just a quick blurb about myself which I will elaborate on as time allows. We’ve recently begun a new venture and are excited to say that things are going very well with our 360islandtours.com business. As for now our company is relatively small with just myself and Catherine.

1/07/2012

Courtney L Bostdorff & Catherine Jean Pitts will begin working on the Windward Mall. As far as we can tell, this will be the first Interactive Virtual Tour of a mall ever created. If everything goes as planned we will also be able to incorporate the majority of mall vendors within the tour. This will be a great opportunity for us to further develop our skills and push the limits of our creative process.

1/22/2012

Courtney L Bostdorff & Catherine Jean Pitts have acquired a new account for 360IslandTours. The Honolulu Club which is a private fitness club. This particular project will be the largest project we have started to date. There will be a total of 60 virtual scenes.

Affordable Custom Web Design

One of the most important things about having a website is that it fits your personality. I have seen many, many, many websites that were done with the “do it yourself” website builders, and unfortunately they look like it. My reason for wanting to address this is because you want to hold a certain image in the mind of the visitors. Read the rest of this entry »

Handcrafters & Artisans Alliance

Hello Everyone!

First, I would like to thank John and Kathleen Parker for pointing us in the right direction. I would also like to thank Patricia Yarc for opening the door and Nancy Calhoun for letting us in. With that said, here’s the pitch!

My name is Courtney L Bostdorff and I run a small web design company called “SiteSires.com”. We are local here on Oahu and we specialize in creating Interactive Websites for small to medium sized businesses while focusing on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and of course a user friendly web design platform that enables our customers to easily edit and maintain their very own customized online website.

We’ll be offering our services to all of the Handcrafters & Artisans Alliance Members at a discounted rate. Our regular design fee is $950. We are hoping that many of you will appreciate our work/price and jump aboard. We realize that many of you only sell your artwork part time while working at a full time job so that you can feed your families and maybe have some extra money to do what you enjoy, so we thought that we would cut everyone a break so that our sites were affordable to ALL OF YOU and that’s why we have decided on what we believe is a very reasonable web design price, $350.

The $350 covers the design fee and all the features that we offer which include:

  • Custom Website.
  • Custom Logo and Custom Favicon.
  • Create Unlimited Pages and Posts with Easy SEO.

As many of you already know the Internet has become a serious marketing tool for all types of businesses both big and small. Not only does a website help to generate more walk-through traffic but it also opens up a doorway where on the other side sits a potential customer with each and every Internet connection, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

Many of our customers already had websites, however their websites were not doing what they were supposed to do which is to generate more online business or walk-through traffic AND were not searchable when using the search engines for anything other then their business name. Having only your business name searchable does absolutely nothing for your business unless whoever’s searching for you already KNOWS your business name, so forget about getting any organic online sales.

As an example for Search Engine Optimization, go to www.yahoo.com and do a search for “hawaiian photography“. Notice that there are over 11,200,000 results for the keyword phrase “hawaiian photography”. Now take a look at the 3rd listing which is  “Hawaiian  Fine-Art Photography | Freds Fotos and Things“. We created this site for a customer a little over a month ago. Not too shabby to be number three for such a  generic search term in such a short amount of time, if I do say so myself.

We work very quickly and under normal circumstances can have a website completed in about a week. Normal circumstances being that the customer provides us with all the requested information in a quick and timely manner.

If you would like more information or if you are interested in our services please pick up the phone and give me a call at 808-292-6580 just ask for Courtney. Oh, I’m a guy, so don’t be too surprised by my MANLY voice :)

Customer Examples:
Aloha Stadium Swap Meet Directory
Fred’s Foto’s & Things
Polynesian Arts & Crafts – still waiting on their products :(
Creative Photo Mats (Old Site) (New Site – Just started)
The Wine Cellar
Computers For Seniors

Tips for creating an eflyer

Eflyers are used commonly among real esate agents, but they have great potential for other businesses as well. I would like to discuss a few things that need to be considered when creating an eflyer. Most importantly, you need to have knowledge that an image in the eflyer will probably send it straight to the junk folder. Also there are words that trigger “spam” protection that you should try to avoid. One of the most crucial to avoid is the word FREE….Free anything, examples:
