Her Last Mile 7
August 29th
My husband and I have different venues when it comes to what we should be focusing on at this moment with the business. We both agree both things need to be done but on when to do them is the question. I want to focus on On-line sales and placement, he wants to focus on Off-line sales now. I guess where the compromise to me is, do the suggestions he has, and while it is creating itself, work on On-line aspects. I have no problem doing the On-line portion myself. Because I do feel strongly about it right now, it is what I feel I should be doing. And I usually try to let my feelings be my indicators on what is the best thing for me at this moment. And alot of what he is wanting to do off-line would not need to involve me for a week or two, and then my needs of it after that time period are uncertain, but I know even then I will find time execute my plan! Because I do not plan on being small, I plan on being a competitive figure in the community. To me this means being on the first page for our keywords, the way to do this, is a multitude of different steps, all of which I have been working on and so close to have finishing a major deed in this matter. I can’t stop yet.
I think it is essential as business partners, as friends, as life partners that my husband and I just realize to follow our own bliss, and to allow the other to do the same. If this is done on a level of Love and Respect then of course the other would help when needed, of course the unit would mold and change to what is best for the moment. Of course the moment would mold and change to suit what is best.. If we all of a sudden got hit with 50 or 1000 new off-line subscribers, then of course what I am doing would not at the moment be my passion. And if we all of a sudden had 50 to 100 new subscribers on line, then off line sales would not be his leading feeling.
But since we both feel so passionately about two different aspects, I think we both need to follow those feelings individually. The progress it might bring, the potential of doing both is very exciting.
