How to Create a Logo

Creating a Logo!

There are so may tools available for creating a Logo. Many are free, or if you are like my husband and like to do things to perfection yourself, there are many photo editing software that you can use to help you get the Logo that best reflects who you and your business are.

A logo is a very important way of Branding, especially if you are going to network on social networking sites or business networking sites. I suggest using your logo image instead of your personal photo. The more places that you can use your logo the better. Part of branding is to be noticed, admired and remembered.

I suggest doing a search for anything you want, and pay attention to the logos used on other peoples websites, or look at products you have in your house, sometimes looking at what others have created can spark imagination in yourself.

There are alot of sites that offer the service of free logo making or you can pay someone to do it for you. What ever you do I would suggest having a couple  created for you to choose from. Think about the audience and what colors you are going to use. A logo doesn’t have to be fancy, it can be as simple as a letter in bold font.

Ask yourself what it is you want to reflect to your audience? Is your website/product/service about something that is bold? Daring? Caring? Reserved? Calm? Inspiring? Lively? Fun…………

After you have an idea of what emotion you are trying to invoke you can think about the color, font style, images……..

Here are a few examples of sites that offer Free Logo Design:

www.logomaker.com

www.logosnap.com

www.cooltext.com

www.logoyes.com

You can even do a search for how to make your MySpace background (if you use MySpace for networking) with your logo image. There are a ton of sites that offer information on how to add your created  logo to Myspace. Simply search for “make Myspace background from my own picture”. and then upload your image and follow the directions!

What ever you choose to do, give yourself options and room to grow.

Sincerely,

SiteSires
