Having a website is not that hard to do. Technology has made it where just about anyone can create a website for little or no money. I did a quick search for some of the sites that offer such free services and many of them are professional looking and offer the opportunity to upgrade your account to offer more features.

Yet, if you only need the basic services of the free websites, then I completely suggest trying them. I think most people get scared thinking they can’t do it, they know little about computers and less about designing a web page. But trust me, it is very simple to create a website through these companies.

But I do suggest that you think about what it is you actually want to do with your website. Is it a personal website or a professional website you are trying to create. If it is a professional website you are interested in, then I would compare these sites and see what paid features they offer and compare the rates of each.

Many Free Website companies offer e-Commerce, e-mail accounts, and other website/online tools as paid features. It may be worth paying the the monthly fees to obtain these tools. As with most of my articles, I will again suggest you take the time, hours, days, weeks to really compare the companies. Write down the features of all and prices. Do a defined search such as “free websites” or “affordable websites” and search beyond the fourth page for the search results.

Speaking only of the free websites and what they have to offer an individual. Free website builders are a great way to get an online presence.  All you have to do is take the time to learn how to design the free website with the tools that each company offers, usually templates and a text editor and the ability to add photos, create it to your liking and activate it to be live.

Some of the benefits of using a creating a free website, are: not having to pay a webmaster to update the website, and it can save you thousands of dollars by having someone else create it for you. The templates I have seen, and I see alot of them,  are diverse in categories and professional in design.

I love surfing the internet, you can find anything you can think about. And all of those pages that you go to, all of those sites are someone elses creation. If you have something you would like to share or sell, the web is the place to be.
