The Art of cracking WordPress themes.So I’ve decide to start a page dedicated to the art of cracking WordPress Themes. Our first lesson is the basics of cracking the themes footer. This video tutorial starts with the assumption that you have the themes footer.php open in whatever FTP manager that you use.
If you come across a theme that you can’t seem to crack, please use this post to give me the theme name or a link to the download. I’ll crack the theme and do a video tutorial on how I did it.

Ok so I cam across this encoded footer that has taken away 24 precious hours from me. At first I thought it was double encoded or something because it was extremely difficult to decode. Later I realised it was a zended script !!! and the encoding was just 8 lines. Now this script is making life a little difficult for me, if I edit the footer, the theme just breaks.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you! The way that I crack the themes is strictly due to my troubleshooting capabilities. I have no idea of how to decode anything….only to look at it, try something different and then begin troubleshooting the code from the gotten results. I wish I could help but highly doubt that I would be of any use to you.

The download link for the redlife theme is good, however it seems that the theme is broken. I’m not sure what the issue is but I can’t troubleshoot the theme when it’s broken the way it is. Sorry.
